Alice Leung, Au.D.
Doctor of Audiology
Dr. Puifung Alice Leung is a passionate audiologist dedicated to patients’ hearing success. Practicing audiology in San Francisco for over 20 years, she has personally evaluated and treated over 10,000 people with hearing loss.
Originally from Hong Kong, Dr. Leung graduated from Sir Robert Black College of Education and taught elementary school. Her love of cultural study and travel brought her to the US to study where she met her husband and settled in the San Francisco Bay area over 25 years ago. She earned her bachelor’s degree in communication disorders from the University of Nevada, Reno and her master’s degree in audiology from California State University, Sacramento. After working as an Audiologist for 5 years, she decided to further her education in Audiology and enrolled in Arizona School of Health Sciences where she received her Doctor of Audiology in 2006. Dr. Leung holds a certificate of clinical competence in audiology from the American Speech Language Hearing Association, is a California licensed Audiologist and is a fellow of the American Academy of Audiology.
With the audiology field evolving, Dr. Leung is continuously learning about the newest techniques and technology to give her patients the highest level of care. Her approach to hearing care goes beyond improving communication, she also seeks to understand the emotions behind her patients struggles with hearing loss. She regularly works in collaboration with patients, their families and other medical professionals in hearing healthcare. This wholistic approach contributes to her patients having higher satisfaction rates and better hearing outcomes. As a supervisor for doctorate students in audiology, she shares her passion in audiology and helps train future audiologists.
Dr. Leung is fluent in English, Cantonese and Mandarin. In her leisure time, she loves baking and trying new recipes. She adopted 2 dogs from friends. In her community she provides countless hours of audiology in underserved neighborhoods of San Francisco, she volunteers teaching children Sunday school and as a counselor of a young adult fellowship.
Annie Ha, Au.D.
Doctor of Audiology
Dr. Annie Ha is a friendly and engaging audiologist evaluating and treating patients with hearing loss in San Francisco, CA. She is a California licensed Audiologist and a Fellow of the American Academy of Audiology.
Dr. Ha attended the University of California, Davis where she received both a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics. While working at Audiological Services of San Francisco as an Administrator, she discovered the profession of audiology and hearing care services. She became fascinated with hearing aid technology and admired the close and collaborative relationship that audiologists have with their patients. She knew she found her calling and decided to pursue a career as an Audiologist. She received a Doctor of Audiology degree from the University of the Pacific in San Francisco and completed her residency at the non-profit Hearing and Speech Center of Northern California.
During her training Dr. Ha volunteered at Homeless Project Connect. She continues today to dedicate time to working with under-represented populations and helping ensure that everyone suffering from hearing loss can stay connected with the sounds and people around them. Her passion for audiology keeps her focused on finding solutions to patients’ hearing concerns. She has a keen understanding of technology and how to combine her expertise with the right hearing aid technology to improve her patients’ hearing in the situations that matter the most to them.
Living in San Francisco, Annie enjoys cheering for the SF Giants and the 49ers. She looks forward to relaxing at home, playing games with her family, including her cat and dog.
